About this site

CPCTools.in is an independent set of free calculators that help central government employees and pensioners model the expected impact of the 8th Central Pay Commission. Every figure that is not yet official is clearly stamped as PROJECTED, and the assumptions behind each tool are written on its page.

All calculations run in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or stored. The site's key parameters (current DA rate, projected fitment range, expected implementation date) are reviewed against official announcements, and the "Last updated" date at the top of every page tells you when that last happened.

Corrections policy: accuracy comes before everything else on this site. Every rate we use (DA, HRA slabs, pay matrix figures) is checked against official notifications and published worked examples before it goes live, and the calculation engine is verified against a public test suite. If you find any figure that looks wrong, email cpctoolsindia@gmail.com — verified corrections are published the same day, and the "Last updated" date at the top of every page reflects the most recent review.
